(madi is wearing our best selling inca steps necklace)
dan & madison left at 5 am this morning heading to the airport. madison is flying to Anaheim California to compete in the DECA (international association of marketing students) national championships. madison rocked the state competition coming in 2nd place earlier this spring! she’s worked hard not only on her project but to try to raise money towards the trip. good luck sweet girl!!
before he left, dan woke me up at 4:55. goodness gracious alive. 4:55. who am i? combined with running at full throttle the last couple weeks and being totally jazzed about the next two days i think i barely slept a wink. no seriously.
so i’m heading to the airport in a few hours to pick up jessica. jessica is the founder of Noonday Collection and one of my most favorite people on earth. i’ve begged jessica to fly in and stay with me. she lives in texas- where apparently most all cool people just so happen to live. and since i own a substantial amount of cowboy boots i figure maybe one day i should too….. anyways. so she took me up on it. she’ll be here for a few days & i can hardly stand it.
besides the biggies like weddings days & having babies, if i had to list most life changing events/connections/etc i would count meeting jessica & joining Noonday right up there at the top. i’ve written about noonday dozens of times and i love sharing the stories about the artisans and the people who’s lives are being changed.
jessica is a knock-out, bubbly blond who is truly a world changer. her passion to create a pathway out of poverty & her enthusiasm are nothing if not completely contagious. i jacked a few pictures from her facebook & below include her with artisans in Guatemala , with her adopted son Jacques in Rwanda & then their beautiful family.
if you have any interest in partnering with us & joining our team let me know, i’d love to help answer any questions!
see ya soon!
