life lately

sweet emi has a new job working for chickfila.

so proud of her. she’s learning how to balance school, social life & now a job too πŸ™‚ such a great organization for her to be a part of!

even after an absolutely crazy week, my sweet guy got up on a saturday morning to go buy a piece of furniture from world market. on sale πŸ™‚

i have the metal tub chairs in our kitchen & the matching table i use as a desk in my studio.

love wearing my cuff to help support ruth’s marathon with

team world visison!

i’ve been juicing. really need to make this a habit.

but then i got sick πŸ™

started with a cold that got worse quickly.woke up a few days later & felt awful. since i don’t currently have a gen practitioner, i headed over to the walgreens clinic. well low & behold if the happy walgreens man was redesigning to the tune of hammering. loudly. multiple metal shelves. loudly. multiple. lord have mercy. i thought my head would blow right off my shoulders.

diagnosed with bronchitis and sent home with some drugs.

becameΒ  a recluse for a week trying to get better & then ventured to target and found the following hilarious card

got sucked into buying caroline black hightop chucks

i gave her grief then realized how darn cute she was in them. i apologized.

she still stands on tippy toes. darn if it isn’t the cutest thing ever.

after being in the house for a week i needed retail therapy. a level above target.

so we headed to free people & anthro….just a quick surgical strike. i’m certain i was no longer contagious at that point.

followed by a sunday morning quiet time. best morning i’ve had in a while.

most definitely had something to do with spending time alone with Jesus πŸ™‚

& brinkley. of course.celebrated my brother’s birthday & my dad’s too πŸ™‚

madison is still wearing that massive knee brace following her surgery last month

but was cleared to resume wearing heels. & yes counted down the days!

finally went running. after being off for 2 weeks…whoa.lunch with my precious friend kathy….formerly known as the blogger, pretty in pink and green πŸ˜‰emi playing dress up for an upcoming eventapparently my choice of color has become somewhat predictable

worked the “together for adoption” conference & met fellow ambassador & super fun friend, corrie rusch!

loved her. wish she didn’t live in another state.

jessica, our founder, was in Guatemala. she texted me & asked me to take a shot with our nod to neon scarf.

she was sitting with the family who weaves those for us. in Guatemala!

i love technology!

drove the next day to spend parents day with savannah at UGA

she’s living in the sorority house this year with mckinley, her roomie from last year.

i love what they’ve done with their space & yes, savannah painted all her art. well actually the painting on the left was made by mckinley πŸ™‚

a little more retail therapy including ruffled flair pajama pants. yes. i’m 6 years old.

started a much over due thursday morning bible study. beth moore’s believing god. so fired up for the accountability and the teaching & the time with my girlfriends!

traded out the seashells in my ginormous doughbowlapparently i need this. was dropped by my original host during my blog move. #needyblogger. i may or may not share that story πŸ˜‰

pumpkins made it down south . oh happy happy day!

our football team beat the #1 ranked team in the nation. there’s emi in the newspaper shot πŸ™‚

world’s longest random wordpress post completed. the end.

Lori H - Wonderful photos of everyone. The black Chucks are per.fect. I drool over the industrial furniture in WM every time I go! So thankful you have some of it for me to enjoy πŸ™‚ I mentioned a while back that my niece, from a graduating class of 14, was headed to UGA. She is loving it! A bit of an adjustment, but feels so comfortable there.
We hope to visit someday…the campus looks beautiful.

Deborah - Great random post Paige. Love Chickfila, World Market, feeling better, lemon themed card, cute 6th grader in high top chucks, standing on tippy toes, family celebrations, blogging friends becoming life friends, neon scarfs, Guatemala, parents day, creating your own art work, ruffled pajama pants for women, sun flowers and all things pumpkin.

Also “anything” for dummies books. That’s how I roll. Ha

Have an awesome autumn season.
