when the girls and i moved to this community 18 years ago, i knew we were in a special spot. our local highschool has a long legacy of both academic and athletic excellence. national recognition and state championships abound. football. swimming. soccer. wrestling. and baseball. ( that’s not an exhaustive list). being a life long lover of all things baseball, my girls are growing up with the same passion and seldom missed a game over the last few years.

here are a few few from one of the hometown heroes, mac marshall. a recent MLB draftee who has chosen to forgo the pro’s & instead will head to LSU on a full ride D1 scholarship! mac was one of the pitchers that lead the team to two state championships & national championship as well!  gwinnett daily post pitcher of the year 2014 and all-county team . ( just to name a few). way to go mac!
