it’s gonna be a bright bright sun-shiny day

we’ve had some seriously dark & gloomy, rainy days around here.

and a lot of ’em!

as an on-location photographer, (sans studio) trying to schedule sessions in weather such as that it can be mighty tricky. i think i mentioned in my last post the amount of rainy dreary days leading up to that session.

my girlfriend lindsay is stunning and full of personality. i really wanted a sunny day for her. she is newly engaged and i wish she & brian all the best.

ok. so we were supposed to shoot saturday night but due to the aforementioned weather, we needed to move it to sunday morning. yesterday i woke to a gorgeous day. perfect for shooting this adorable little family-to-be. when they got out of the car, i coulda thrown a back tuck….look at their fabulous colors and layers. a photographers dream.

lindsay had a shot she knew she wanted….i had the same shot in my mind’s eye. i absolutely love how this turned out…

i’ll share more of these cuties in another post. i need to run….before the rain starts. again.

Kerri - You are a lucky lady to be doing what your heart desires! Capturing beautiful memories for many years to come! What I would give for the rain you are getting. If it weren’t for my husband, I would have moved to GA or NC! I really do not like New England weather in the winter. I had to scrape a layer of snow and ice off the car this morning heading into school. Besides, y’all are a lot friendlier down south too! XOXO
