good morning friends!!
i’m still processing through the thoughts & emotions from Guatemala. a few of us traveled there to meet several of our artisans and it was truly a life changer for me. i look forward to sharing the process, through images, of the making of the ana scarf & the chasing triangles cuff.
i’d love to share a little behind the scenes video of the making of the lookbook ~
it’s truly hard to narrow down my favorite pieces, as i honestly LOVE so many of them, but for today, here’s 3 pieces i’d love to introduce you to~
1.ready or knot necklace. made in ethiopia from our line of melted down artillary, bullets, casings, weaponry. redemption pieces with a beautiful story
2. metallic pearl earrings, also made in ethiopia from upcycled artillery
3. doreen colorblock cuff -smitten with this piece! made exclusively for Noonday by our artisans in uganda. i can’t wait to share more about doreen!
4. market tote bags, made with love, truly!, in rwanda! love the story behind our sewing group. please note, color will vary!
5. falling mukisa necklace. true story- the artisans pray for each “future” customer as this is being handmade in uganda. i kid you not.
“I pray for every woman who will wear this necklace, that they may receive favor in the eyes of God; may they always know that we are blessed by their purchases, and that God will be faithful to reward them”
the colors are gorgeous & this makes a fabulous layer piece or just worn alone!
alrighty friends!! go forth & use your purchasing power to TRULY transform the lives of these artisans. more stories to come!!
