april is the new may

so May is the craziest month. end of school deadlines, events,  programs, recitals, tryouts, teacher gifts, finals, weddings, mothers day. you know. well. it appears that my april 2013 couldn’t get any more full. full of mostly good things. but full nonetheless.

when my website got hacked last week i thought i was going to come completely undone. then my computer acted as if it were infected. not that those things ever occur & i think to myself, “sweet, this is the most perfect time for a small crisis”…but still. thursday evening i was completely overwhelmed with obligations, events i am planning & responsible for, sessions that needed editing, and just life in our home. everyone in my house is currently mighty busy. i went to bed that night overwhelmed & exhausted. i asked the lord, not necessarily for anything ( detail wise) specific, just help to get where i needed to be & do “my things” ( all of them) well over the next several days.

ya’ll friday morning, one thing after another fell into place. my computer, which totally acted as if it were infected, was in actuality not infected. a few of things i thought were lost on my blog template just so happened to appear to be working again. details were falling into place. some financial things came through ( in the positive). it just kept going on & on. so much so that i knew it was all Him. i had a wonderful morning catching up with my brother & then a super fun day with her!!! ( i’ll share more, i promise!)

the last two weekends i’ve made the road trip to alabama to be a second shooter in two weddings. one in birmingham, which afforded me a weekend with a dear friend & then yesterday in montgomery. i can hardly wait to share the images with ya’ll. hardly wait! this week is swamped again so i’m not sure when i’ll be back…but until then, a quick peek at the stunning bride from yesterday’s perfect wedding!
