i realize many of you guys are still plowing through the ice & snow but spring will be here before we know it! for some of us it’ll be here a little sooner. but we’ll pay for it come august while other areas are enjoying breezy sunsets with low humidity. it’s all a balance right? so last week while we had a little snow on the ground and threats of frozen rain later that evening, i set a table to flirt with thoughts of warmer days & sweetly singing birdies outside our windows. my little four buck bouquet of trader joe’s eucalyptus got snipped here & there for a sweet centerpiece. those are just little mercury glass votive holders from target holiday a few years ago & some stemless wine glasses. i added a few airplants as well. with drew holcomb playing in the background i was totally in my little vibe.
several of the elements i used can be found via carol & company. if you’ve visited my blog for a while now you’re well aware that i adore this retailer. founded by ruth grigson, carol & co. carries a fantastic selection of both home decor as well as beautiful, on trend, accessories. if you peruse the ‘shop by brand’ section over on the left sidebar you will see the plethora of lines they offer.
now through March 15th enter the code HOME for 10% off home decor ( excluding nora fleming).
todays feature includes: magenta line pieces, the paisley runner from kitchen papers, oversized linen napkins/kitchen towels from my favorite sugarboo & co., and the wonderful candles from rewined . these are created using repurposed wine bottles. i’m super picky about candles/home fragrance, but i love these! especially mimosa. they now offer a large size as well! the salt & pepper cellars are uber popular. the mugs are french stoneware with old typewriter font words. the placemats are cake vintage papers as well & as you can tell, we have a super fun assortment. as are the little serving papers. these are so fun to use & can turn your table into something both beautiful & whimsical as well!
(the plates & white handled bowls were a splurge from pompom home’s heritage collection. i grabbed mine at a favorite shop in seaside but they can purchased here. sorry no coupon for those babies. the gold chargers are from target. and because i get asked frequently, the monogrammed chair slips at pottery barn from about ten years ago. i assume they still carry something similar)
enjoy your weekend my friends! if you’re local, come join us tomorrow morning as we support wellspring living & their run for one at piedmont park!!
