life lately

savannah rolled in last weekend to spend sometime with i turned 13 despite the fact that my mom still looks at me like i’m the baby of the family caroline & celebrate her birthday, which is always a treat to have everyone under the same roof. our schedules are all so different with the girls having jobs, school commitments & social plans but on the, what’s now a rare, occasion when we can all be together its just truly a blessing.

caroline was the first of the girls to read the divergent series so when the dates of the movie release lined up with her actual birthday, big sis madi offered to take her to the midnight premier. actually now the midnight premieres are at 10 pm which helps a little since it was actually on a school night.

last saturday i had a highschool friend bring her daughter & her daughter’s newborn over for a photoshoot. which translates, everyone needs to wake up & clean their rooms & make the beds by 9am on a saturday so mama has location options. since we painted savannah’s room, its now a primo spot for a morning newborn session. they all obliged and wanted to be available in the event the newborn ( beautiful landyn) needed to be held. sweet.

savannah has an incredible opportunity this summer. she willbe  interning with corporate chickfila in their marketing department. we’re so proud of her & excited for this opportunity (plus it’s in atlanta. score!). these are highly coveted internships in a very competitive field. while she was home we snapped a couple professional headshots.  i loved that on her bio she shared a couple fun facts including her love for coffee, travel and all things athens georgia. we’ve not traveled extensively as a family, however the last year or so she’s been able to travel and see several cities and locations that she loves. her sweetheart actually gifted her a trip to mexico later this spring! below is an image that i love taken on st. george island during her spring break.

caroline’s sweet friend was so cute on her birthday. she walked up the street-called care to walk outside–then proceeded to sing to her while dancing around her & blowing a birthday horn,only to be followed by gifting her with a little smoothie maker. good times.
