simple & beautiful laundry

good morning friends!

it’s sorta funny. i planned to sit down and whip up an encouraging post about being on fire. girl power ‘n all. i uploaded these images & realized i’m not feeling particularly all on fire today. in fact it’s kinda one of those let’s find beauty in the everyday laundry kind of days. and that’s fine. because honestly this was my laundry drying in the birds are chirping~dogwoods are blooming~ breeze is blowing~kind of regular days. just a regular day. just a regular week. and may i never take those for granted. social media can make us feel like we must always have something fabulous going on to share. and truth be told, i can totally get caught up in that. but just regular dinner at home, returning emails, texts with friends and finishing off a fiction book before bed-those are days that when our world is swirling all around us, we’ll gladly grab on to. so i don’t have a potential viral post to share other than i hope you have a beautiful, regular, plain old day full of wonder & beauty & blessings in the simple.

these super cute tops were created by tiffini. she’s amazing & keeps on keeping on with blessings & a positive spirt. like always. now that girls on fire. i think our friend meg is offering a special coupon for 10% off signs in tiff’s etsy shop, use code CONSECRATED. i love the ‘let’s be adventurers’ as it holds special meaning in my little world that sometime this summer i’ll be able to share. i purchased the live courageously poster a couple weeks ago and honestly feel like i can use that reminder every day, in every season.

Jennifer - That antler shirt is calling my name! “BUY ME BUY ME BUY ME”
It’s hard for this rush rush rush momma, at times, to find the excitement in just normal days. Oh but when that sweet place of contentment does show up…I look around at all that I am blessed with. I know that dinner, bath time routines, and bedtime snuggles are all the adventures I need right now.
great post…much love!

Ella - Oh Paige, I totally feel this way. Some days I am just home cleaning my house or cooking & I feel so fulfilled. I think that is a trait inborn in women. The busyness in our generation makes us forget this. ‘We are too busy enjoying our world to notice & enjoy’
Nice photos of Maddie.
