mentors, authors & speakers, and a winner too

i want to introduce you to kitti. let me just say that everyone needs a kitti in their life.

kitti’s 10 years older than i am yet looks 10 years  younger. i told her thursday, when we spent what had to be the worlds fastest 2 hours together, that since i feel 10 years younger and in my mind she’s my age that i’ve successfully stopped the aging process!

to have a friend & mentor who you absolutely think the world of and is just ahead of you in life is to be blessed with one of life’s sweetest blessings. that is who kitti is to me. ( and undoubtedly dozens and dozens of other women!)

kitti has been one of the most influential women in my life. she is highschool crazy over her hubby. her four boys and the super cool wives three of them have chosen have risen up and called her blessed. she’s a published author , has run a full marathon and easily throws down half marathons on a regular basis. she can cook , paint and decorate and most importantly she loves jesus like crazy.

she’s currently writing another book and doing loads of other amazing things. you might wanna add her blog to your reading list ….find her here & here.

alecia a, #34 please email today with your choice from the Enchanted Forest giveaway and your mailing address. i’ll get that over to them pronto. congratulations!

i can’t wait to share with ya’ll about saturday. sibi came & spoke at a local church and blew us all away. the calling of the lord on her life to encourage women is truly like none i’ve ever seen before. she truly has a passion to share how much the father loves you!

we had such an amazing couple days together that also went by way too fast. i can’t wait to share about The Pearl Event and i can’t wait to share a beautiful example of how much He loves us as soon as i can get all my thoughts together…it wrecked me and ministered to me in such a powerful crazy way.

i love this woman like crazy. she is probably the funniest person i’ve ever known. she’s also one of the deepest feelers and has such a tender heart. she’s overcome a past that most of us can’t even imagine. she’s selfless and she’s southern and she wants to hug all over and fuss over every woman that comes her way. she lays down her life for those babies of hers and does it all with the grace of a member of the royal family. i’m praying that one of these days her story and her passion will be in book form too!

having face time over a basket of chips and salsa, talking about hubbies and children, MAC mascara  & Bobbi Brown concealer, jesus and friends and red jeans, misunderstandings and heartbreak…all of it, was just a healing balm to my heart and even to our friendship.

i feel like time, especially quality time with friends is as if the lord is saying ” i love you so much and i’m gonna love on you through this friend right here. right now.  i love you so much that i’ve placed priceless friendships in your life to show you a tangible side of the depth of my love. the laughter and the tears. the all of it. this is Me. cherish each other”….

Lori H - Thanks for sharing Kitti with us, Paige. I went to her blog and thought I would just add “The Parent that Aches” to my blog roll, but as I read and browsed, I ended up adding all 5 parts to the roll! I can’t wait to have time to really dig into her archives! You and Kitti are lucky to have each other :)
