i drove a red firebird. thank you class of ’84.
when i was 19 i had the world’s coolest cowboy boots. like ever. they were red. i would drive around in my red firebird singing ‘mama’s don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys’. i used to declare joke that if there was ever a fire, i was grabbing the boots. the red boots.
our kitchen used to be red. it was actually a benjiman moore fabulous raspberry but the girls called it red. when i painted our kitchen white a few years ago,there was quite the mutiny.
my computer is red. i have red dishes. red gingham flatware and red wellies.
while our home is primarily white & cream, i love adding in a little splash of red , especially for christmas. i realize some of these images are old news but i kinda got all giddy with talking about red so a few shots are back for a repeat performance.
i scored these fabulous bowls from C.Wonder last week. clearance, extra 30% off and free shipping. they’re gone. don’t hate me. i spoke to my super friendly C.Wonder sales person and she thinks they’ll be back in the spring. speaking of customer service, i was blown away. these little cuties arrived less than 48 hours later & packaged so nicely you’dve thought they were heading to Will & Kate!
C.Wonder is a super funky preppy new store. owned by Tory Burch’s ex. a little controversy there between the two businesses but a fantastic shop nonetheless.

Michelle Whitaker - I used to have a red Firebird also (1987). It was the first car that I bought after graduating from college. I don’t think they make them anymore. Mine had t-tops too. I don’t think they make those any longer either. Makes me feel a bit old to say that. Anyway, it was a fun car to drive. Have a lovely day.

hmm…maybe since the little ones were clearanced, they’ll show up at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx! I too have a pretty neutral pallet, but I love some red. It’s just happy! My daughter is getting the cutest red Kate Spade bag for Christmas, and Im so hoping she’ll let me borrow it
