while technically to some it’s “only november”, i’m completely enjoying christmas music on pandora. david crowder, third day, casting crowns, sarah mclachlan, bebo norman, mercy me, chris tomlin’s glory in the highest, amy grant—i love love love their christmas music. so there may have been a few jokes as my family members walk by my studio with the sound of “O Holy Night” playing somewhat loudly….
i’ve encouraged them to count it a blessing that i’m not playing it in the car and there isn’t a hint of christmas decor going on yet…however things may get a little crazy soon. i’m heading out of town all of next week & i love to start decorating the week prior to thanksgiving….so that as soon as we clean up from turkey & dressing, the lights are already twinkling and it’s truly beginning to look a lot like christmas.
our home will be part of jennifer rizzo’s holiday house walk again this year, & since that begins december 2, somehow our home needs decorating. and pronto. eek.
if you’d like to see some of our christmas home from last year, look in the top tool bar & under “personal images” you’ll see “merry christmas” or you may open this link as well.
so for now, here are a few glimpses around our home before we deck the halls.
after seeing tara’s gorgeous hand-blown glass from paris i have been in a little search. lucky for me, one of my favorite antique booths at the country living fair had this beauty from germany. i purchased a french doughbowl from them last year & love their pieces. now i need a dozen cotton branches & my life will be complete.
glimpses into caroline’s room. as soon as we hang her sign i’ll come back & share that as well.
i found these incredible shams while we were in franklin at the iron gate. i could move in.
our newest picture of brian, our compassion young man living in uganda.
