let’s shop wisely ya’ll & do good for others

last night i had the opportunity of meeting a precious friend, finally!  you see we’ve been chatting via social media for a while so i already knew she was amazing and has a huge heart. earlier this year she sent me a package of fair trade coffee from guatemala after i publicly bemoaned the fact that all my scrumptious coffee from my travels was all gone.

she told me before our Noonday trunk show began…she said, Paige, i know my friends are going to shop. they’re going to buy jewelry. i want to open my open and give them an opportunity to do good for others at the same time.

hello.

hello to a heart of hospitality ( i’ll share those pictures in another post) and a heart of serving others. i saw her heart of hospitality as she seemingly effortlessly hosted dozens of ladies into her home. i saw her heart of hospitality as she engaged and hugged and listened to friend after friend. i saw her heart of service as she prepared a spread, ya’ll a serious spread, of delicious treats. and i saw her heart of service for others as she truly desired to make a difference in life of another mama perhaps on the other side of the globe. another mama in ecuador. another mama in uganda who now has a dignified source of income and way to send her child to school. something i know i take for granted.

and ya’ll i’ve seen friend after friend after friend open their home & do this exact same thing. using their purchase power for good! and i want to publicly thank each of you ( katie, danielle, melissa, carol…the list goes on).

but here’s the deal. you don’t have to open your home or even host a trunk show to shop wisely.  you can do it any day, from the comfort of your home…comfy jammies & warm coffee optional. my brilliant friend courtney is sharing different ways each day this week on how you can shop wiser.

“what if we had a heart conscious gift guide?”

Deborah - Hi Paige,
Love your post today On shopping while doing good for others. That’s a big part of what I’m doing for Christmas this year. I was wondering, did they ever get the Tushabe layered necklace back in stock. I know it was suppose to be back in October. Did I miss it? Hope not. Love it. Take care and have a saf e trip next week.
