first of all i want to thank you for reaching out this week. it’s so weird how just talking about gregg’s death & writing those memories, albeit 17 years later, can honestly make it seem like yesterday. fresh and raw and real all over again. sometimes i forget that the girls don’t really know everything around those days and that’s okay. they will, in time.
i told savannah my intent is never to exploit that part of our story, but my hope is instead to give testimony to how much the lord blessed us and kept us. and by blessed and kept i don’ t just mean in the flesh of a new daddy. yes, he gave us dan which was a mind blowing gift that i never dared imagine, but even if he didn’t send a 6 foot 4 inch handsome man He still would have blessed us & kept us. i hope you believe me.
so again, thank you.
the scarves are so wonderful in person. i wish you could reach right through the computer. many of them are alpaca and feel divine!
also wanted to take a second & wrap up some images & a few of the things i grabbed at Country Living Fair.
these metal letters shown above are super cool…and big…i hope to use them in a few upcoming sessions.
caroline & i recently headed over to joann’s where she chose her fleece fabric to whip up a tie blanket. she actually completed it that evening & did a great job. oh. and yes. she’s quite the little fashion plate in her combat boots & fantastic cardi that she picked out. i was never that cute at 12.
since my boot inventory is a well loved investment by a houseful of girls i justified a new addition this past weekend.
we’re heading to athens tomorrow for UGA homecoming & savannah’s parent weekend with AXO! it’s supposed to be a chilly beautiful fall day. enjoy your weekend my friends!
