a few of my current favorites

i hope everyone stayed dry & safe last night. sounds like there were so many bad storms & more to come through today.

nothing like halloween to remind me how old i am…with teenagers completely on their own for the evening & caroline busy with her own buddies and fully capable of  doing it all alone, we flew solo at the house.

super hero brinkley eagerly awaited any & all opportunities to welcome trick or treaters to our home. but when it came time for his photo, he seemed a little embarrassed. perfect doggy that he is, he never barks when someone rings the doorbell.

i wanted to share a few of my current faves, & for fun i’m throwin in a shot of one of my scores from the country living fair. ya’ll i’m telling you, its a winner & i highly encourage you to find a way to attend one if you can. luckily for me, the one here in georgia is literally in backyard, so to speak. 5 minutes away…i’ll call it in my back yard.

in years past i’ve always been there bright & early on friday morning. usually as i leave i look at all the folks just rolling in & think to myself, ‘all the good stuff is gone…ya’ll might as well head to homegoods’. since i was at allume until late saturday evening, sunday afternoon was the earliest i could manage. not only was it breezy and pleasant, there was not the friday morning crazy crowd…..and there was plenty of fabulous things. in fact, i think i purchased more sunday than in the past two years. sorry dan.

i share about past fairs here,

and here

here and here

this is my latest jennifer lanne purchase. madison was with me & she fell in love with it as well. we love harry potter & the owl reminds me of hedwig. and blue eyes for the win. chandelier and  a pretty chair, it was an easy choice.

the little quirky dude is from jenni bowlin. i’ll share a few more photos from the fair next week.

i have a few cuffs but this is my current go-to. becky, also known as farmgirl paints, knew i wanted as distressed leather as she could find so when she let me know this was available i knew exactly what i wanted it to read–don’t you worry child. she only opens her shop a few times during the year so jump on her instagram to follow! you won’t wanna miss.

my skin is dry and just soaks up any moisturizer i use. my current favorite- loreal’s glow renewal.

love just a hint of cologne and chanel bleu is wonderful on my man.

speaking of fragrance, aveda products have the most amazing light scent. the deep cleansing herbal clay masque is a weekly treat.

my skin might be dry, but if i apply lotion in the morning prior to exercising i’m soaked by the end of class. we found this back in the summer & love it!

my friend turned me on to this little wonder. head over to the YSL counter & let the makeup artist find the perfect shade for you.  ysl touche eclat-A luminizing pen that brings light and radiance to the skin, immediately erases any signs of fatigue, and brightens the complexion.

chanel’s vertigo 563 is the perfect platinum with a tiny hint of metallic. but revlon & cheapy sinful colors brand wear well too.

i also use essie’s millionails as a base coat treatment for dry peeling nails.

loreal’s power volume mascara is awesome! non clumpy & excellent volume.10.31 042

there are only a few fragrances i can wear that don’t give me a terrible headache, flowerbomb is one of them. i wear a tiny bit of the lotion and it’s delicious.

Deborah - Thanks Paige for the info on the Essie undercoat for dry peeling nails. That has been happening to me for the first time and I’ve been trying to find a solution. Immgonna give it a whirl. I’m with you on the Christmas music. On the first we packed away all of our Halloween decor (we have tons) while listen to Christmas music. I’m still giving Thanksgiving it’s special time but I’m definitely got the Christmas spirit. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I’m looking forward to the country living post. I hope to be able to go one of these years.
