merry christmas~welcome to our home!

merry christmas ya’ll & welcome to our home!! i’m so tickled you’re here today! if this is your first time dropping by via Rooms for Rent, welcome! Bre’s home is beautiful & i always leave feeling so inspired! bre-i LOVE your home! i could live on your front porch. and…that advent calendar? maybe the cutest thing ever!!

my name is paige & i’ve been blogging for several years now. gosh, maybe 8? i started my own photography business five years ago & became an ambassador for noonday collection at that same time.  my passion is to capture simple, yet priceless moments & preserve them for families. as well as advocate for artisans around the globe-to call these passions my “job” is a dream come true!  dan & i have been blessed beyond measure to raise our four girls here in atlanta & are currently in the college graduate, college & high school student phase. we recently welcomed a rescue golden into our home who was abandoned & found in the forests of Turkey…our own little international christmas present! my hope is that our home is respite from the fullness of our days & place where everyone feels welcome.

the past several years i’ve been honored to be invited to participate in Jennifer Rizzo‘s Holiday HouseWalk, so thank you jen!! Holiday HouseWalk 2015 is sponsored this year by Joss & Main! Good Housekeeping has created a Holiday House Walk pinterest board that i’m certain will give you much inspiration!  if you’d like to view our home from last year’s tour you may do so here. also, drop back by later in the week as i’ll be posting more detailed images & further sourcing details including anthropologie, magnolia market, joss & main, target, lindsay letters & coton colors.

today’s post is pretty photo heavy so for now just c’mon in & enjoy~

my little window/photobomber duke & i are so glad you dropped by! i love sharing images of our home all decorated for Christmas, but my prayer is that you know the reason we celebrate is not because of fancy place settings or glittery ornaments but because christ the lord came to a humble & dirty hallowed manger and changed everything. the king of angels was born to a virgin teenager and her simple carpenter husband, to give us a hope & future forever! dressing up our home & wrapping presents just serves as one of the ways we usher in the celebration of christ’s birth!

My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Luke 1.46~47

dan & i, along with savannah, madison, emily & caroline wish you a very merry christmas!

vintage christmas 2 blog size

tomorrow youj’ll enjoy your next stop at lucy’s beautiful home otherwise known as Craftberry Bush. i always love peeking into her thoughtful & creative home! lucy features what has to be the most cheerful mudroom…and her little hedgehog stella makes a cameo! white & red are my favorite colors so i adore how lucy has created such a cheerful home, not unlike years past! and plaid? timeless charm! enjoy~~

I dont think I’ve ever made Rice Krispie treats in my life…until last week. We somehow ended up with three bags of marshmallows, so what is a girl to do? I pretty much ate the first pan by myself. Then I added white chocolate chips to the second batch. Be still my heart.

I adore all of your bottle brush trees, chalkboard art (I need a little elf who lives with me to do that!), your vintage ornaments, galvanized tubs and tree stands, sweater stockings, greenery….sounds like a lot but it’s so simplistic. It takes a special restraint to not overdo it and you my friend have that touch! Love every inch! Especially love that you highlighted the REASON for Christmas. HE came and died so that we may life!!!. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
